Tropic Training Solutions is a locally owned and operated computer and business skills training business based in Innisfail. The business specialises in the delivery of short courses that aim to improve the confidence, skills and knowledge of its participants.

Foundation courses offered by Tropic Training Solutions include Basic Computing, Internet & Email, Microsoft Word, Excel and MYOB. Other courses offered include training in other areas such as Bookkeeping Basics, Managing Computer Files and Folders, Facebook, Customer Service etc.

Courses focus on key learning areas to enable participants to learn new skills or to improve on skills they may already have. Training sessions can run anywhere from a three (3) hour session to a full day in a teacher directed environment.

For employment seekers, our job-ready courses are perfect to get you started and a Statement of Attendance is issued after the completion each course.

Although training is conducted around a specific timetabled framework, training can be suitably arranged and tailored for one on one or group training to individuals or businesses.

Training Room Location: Disaster Management Centre, 11 Flying Fish Point Road, Innisfail QLD 4860

Training is conducted in Innisfail on Saturdays and duration of courses run anywhere from a half day to a full day.

Participants are encouraged to use their own laptops, however upon request and for a small fee, laptops are available for use in class.

Who is Tropic Training Solutions?

The business is owned and operated by Ourania Conomos. Ourania has a passion for business skills and also teaching. Her passion for business skills originated from her Commerce/Accounting background and her passion for teaching originated from being a business teacher at the local TAFE.

Ourania is a qualified teacher with over 16 years experience in classroom and TAFE positions and holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Earlier this year, I did a computer course with Ourania, on Files and Folders. My computer skills are VERY poor, and the prospect of doing the class did NOT thrill me,but I was tired of losing things on my computer constantly. What a pleasant surprise – I not only understood everything Ourania so patiently and clearly taught us, but I actually ENJOYED the day! AND still remembered the instructions months later!
